Cashmere is a noble and delicate material that loves water. A cashmere sweater should be washed regularly, after being worn two or three times. Machine washing is suitable for cashmere sweaters. Hand washing is also an alternative, following the same guidelines as machine washing: gently knead it for a few minutes without wringing it. The cashmere sweater should always be dried flat to maintain its original shape. If the knit shows some creases, it can be ironed with a gentle iron without stretching the fabric.
